The Kangaroo is an iconic native Australian animal making the Kangaroo skin a very popular Australian gift or souvenir.There are two species of kangaroos, the Eastern Grey Kangaroo (Macropus Giganteus) and the Red Kangaroo (Macropus Rufus) each characterised, among other traits, by the colour of their fur.Kangaroos are culled in Australia under government regulation which is upheld by the Australian National Parks and Wildlife Service.
